As Co-Design Chief and Senior Ads Editor for the 2024 Elon Yearbook, I collaborated on the creative direction, developing the cover design, end sheets, fonts, colors, and overall formatting. I also oversaw the creation of senior ads, developing a cohesive and visually engaging yearbook that captured the spirit of the class.
This year's book theme was “Carolina”, focusing on the community beyond Elon’s campus. Design elements revolved around maps, map iconography, and local flora and fauna.
When looking at past yearbook designs, we discovered that there had only been one other book with a green cover. This inspired us to create a bold palette based on the idea of a green cover.
Colors were used for the cover, design elements, and text.
COLORS
This text style guide was made for yearbook members to follow in their spreads. It created consistency across the entire book for a unified look.
HEADINGS, SUBHEADINGS, & BODY COPY
The cover is a hand-traced topographical map of the town of Elon.

Senior Ads are paid ads that parents can buy for their graduates. They appear at the end of the book.
The end pages are a drawn out map of Elon.
